ok ok ok

Well...I created this blog a year ago as a personal diary for whats going on in my personal life. I finally found the time (well I have alot of time now since my hubby retired me 6 months ago and am suffering from utter boredom!) to start it.

But...where can I start?!?! I can't possibly start from last year since much has happened to me. I'll just whatever. Im currently listening to Melody's BLOWN AWAY from her upcoming EP with her band, Stella's Notch. Its so haunting and soothing....

Where was I...

Right now, all I could say is that my life is on a very nice path. Im sure its because I have chosen to keep myself within the bounds of what the Bible teaches and I make the decision everyday to live my life as a better Xtian. Mind you, I said BETTER Xtian...not PERFECT.

My family...
>I recently got married (again!) to the man I know I will grow old with. He's such a sweetheart. He is the biggest HEARTed Man I have ever met. You know, I heard a really awesome proverb that i will never forget and is so true in my case

It takes a strong man to allow a strong woman to be herself.....

I have two multi-talented, wonderful children. Storm, age 10 and Summer age 9. Both are taking Kumon classes. Both are at the top of their classes. Why? I guess, I try my best to instill high standards in them. Its not fun being at the bottom of the totem pole. Unfortunately (sorta?), life is always a nicer view at the front fo the pack rather than staring at someone else's butt, right?

Storm has recently started taekwondo and being in the class only two weeks, I was surprised to received a note from his teacher that he can already take the test to move to yellow belt. It usually takes months to get tested but his teacher said he is advancing very quickly. Cool! He has developed a likeing for the drums as well and I'll probably have a teacher come over our house sometime soon. He makes me a proud momma.

Summer is also busy. She is in Drill team in school. She was no. 50 in the auditions and they picked only 15 out of 50 aspiring young cheerleaders in between 3rd and 6th grade. I thought that was something to be proud of, dont you think? She is also in ballet classes every Sat. morning.

They are both very active in Sunday school as well. In fact, both are preparing for a concert for the Church's anniversary this coming October.

At the moment we also have other members of our family. Tita Toti is our trusted housekeeper. Who really keeps the house nice, homey and tidey. We have warm home cooked meals everyday. She keeps the Christian atmosphere at home by constantly blasting praise and worship songs while cleaning the house!

I also have a friend, Jun who I met thru Pam and is currently staying with us for awhile. He has just moved from the Phils. and I am just helping him get started in the US of A. I am very happy for him because I have brought him to know the Lord Jesus Christ. Well, actually he's not yet there but he's on the right path. He met Pastor Chito , developed an instant bond with him and is now attending all church activities that he can get his nose in! They say the angels rejoice when someone starts a personal relationship with JC. This should be something to rejoice about.

Other members of the family...a rabbit called raven, two nameless turtles, a (dwindling) ant farm, and two fighting fish in their own bowls. Absolutely no dogs....can't have dogs...they become such a costly liability (no offense to our dog lovers out there...hehehe)

thats it for now...
